Every year, Screen South launches it’s ‘Music Videos in May’ challenge, generating music videos between artists and film crews to be debuted at the end of the month.
Each artist gets one film crew, one week to shoot and edit their music video, which is a large undertaking at the Digital Hub, The Glassworks in Folkestone.
It's genuinely interesting to see how four different teams generate four completely different ideas under such a tight time constraint.
It's funded by the UK Government and Arts Council England, bringing genuine collaboration between individuals who may not have worked together before, something we need in Kent.
I worked on 'House of Lies' by Jasmin Fairhall who's a very talented young artist from just outside of Canterbury.
