Tables Turned is an anti-bullying short, made for institutes of education to help raise awareness of the affects of what sustained bullying can produce. A bitterly cold three days shooting this film which wrapped two days before Christmas in 2018. The house that was the set was small cramped and yet despite this, everyone got along and worked hard.
This was filming making on an extremely tight budget meaning there were ever more inventive ways of lighting scenes, which was incredible to watch and learn from. It really goes to show that you don’t always need a huge budget to make an excellent looking film.
On this project, I was able to photograph and design the poster shot as well as undertake the unit stills and behind the scenes photographs as Rich Broome Unit Stills Photography.
Shot on location in Broadstairs, Kent.
Written by Ian Noakes, directed by Katherine Shannon and shot by award-winning cinematographer Stuart White.
