Murmurs is a literal heart-felt short about a father who’s lost his daughter, but her heart lives on in a young man, allowing him the opportunity to live.

The father will have a tangible connection with his daughter now for the rest of his life. I had a very enjoyable time working on this short. Not only were we spoilt with the fantastic weather, but a local brewery had donated some of their beer in sponsorship of the film. Having a unit base so near to the shooting locations and having most the crew could stay overnight allowed us to unwind and get to know each other on a more social level.

This was my first time working in conjunction with the talented Nichola Wong and providing her film with the unit stills and behind the scenes photographs she needed.
